Justice For Uwa, Justice For Jeniffer and Justice For Tina
You get on Social Media. You see different hashtags and you’re probably wondering what is going on. You see pictures of protests from home. Here’s what.
Some days back, Tina Ezekwe, a teenager, was shot by a drunk Police officer reported attached to what division, location, Berger. The officer, whose identity is yet to be revealed, was reported by witnesses, saying, ‘I’ll kill you, I’ll kill you myself’. Tina was rushed to a hospital and was unattended to.
It was claimed that there was no police report regarding the case.
Eventually, Tina lost her life. Justice must prevail. The errant officer should be charged with murder. We want Justice for Tina. She was young and definitely full of hopes. She was a part of our future and her life has been cut off prematurely.
Rape has always been an endemic issue eating away on the fabric of our nation Nigeria and stealing the innocence and future of the womenfolk majorly. This has to STOP. In most situations (if not all) victims of rape are blamed for being raped. Nasty remarks about their dressing, their movement, and other irrelevances are made. These and more male it even difficult to fight this evil. The idea of blaming the victim rather than the rapist is just as vile as committing the crime itself.
Uwa a 100 undergraduate student of the University of Benin who went to read in a church building was raped and killed while reading inside the church. The culprits are on the run. They shouldn’t be roaming free on our streets, we’re tired. #JusticeForUwa
Another 12-year-old girl who was raped by 11 men in Jigawa. Yes, you read that right, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…..11 men in their right senses thought they were entitled to the little girl’s body and each raped her at different occasions
Kindly Share, we demand #JusticeForUwa, #JusticeForJeniffer, and #JusticeForTina
